Chuck J. Allen

Chuck Allen, age 65, of Ironton, passed away on December 19, 2025, at Iron County Hospital. Born on October 7, 1960, Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Allen, and four siblings: Leona Blankenship, Valerie Wren, Jackie Allen, and Ray Bowen.

Chuck was well known throughout the area for his passion and skill in competitive softball, playing in many leagues including Park Hills, Fredericktown, Farmington, and Ironton. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer, rabbit, and turkey hunting. In addition, Chuck spent several years training Beagles, sharing his love of hunting and dogs with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Rickman) Allen; his mother, Martha (Inman) Bowen; his brother, Clifford Allen; several nieces and nephews and host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. Both the visitation and the service will take place at the C.Z. Boyer & Son - Bryson Chapel in Pilot Knob. Interment will follow at the Web-Yount Cemetery in Marquand.
