Clara Mae Allers

Listen to Obituary
Clara Mae Allers of Pilot Knob, Missouri passed away on November 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 87 years. She was born on February 3, 1934, to the late Ora Ray and Thelma (Carlock) Cloin. On October 23, 1954, she was united in marriage to Jacob Allers who survives. They recently celebrated sixty-seven years of marriage. To this union four children were born: Deborah Moyers (Alan) of Ironton, Missouri; Mary Coleman of Dinwiddie, Virginia; Teresa Milles (Chris) of Melbourne Florida; and Karl Allers who preceded his mother in death. Clara Mae is also survived by her brother; Dallas “Sonny” Cloin of Arcadia, Missouri; five grandchildren: Jason Moyers, Eric Allers, Freddy Morrison, Shellie Coleman, and Matt Coleman; ten great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. In addition to her parents and a son, Clara Mae was preceded in death by her brother Cledous Cloin, and her sisters, Patsy Holder and Juanita King. Clara Mae was a member of the Pilot Knob First Baptist Church. She was very active in her church. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. She and Jake had moved their membership to the Post in Bismarck, Missouri. Clara Mae worked at the shirt factory in Arcadia, cooked at the Mimosa Drive-In, cleaned houses, and retired after fifteen years working in housekeeping at Arcadia Valley Hospital. After she retired, she helped Jake with his lawn mowing business. She enjoyed being a busy woman and wasn’t satisfied unless she was doing something. Even with all these commitments, above all she enjoyed being a wife and Mom, especially to Karl. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Pilot Knob First Baptist Church. Children were always very important to Clara Mae, and she would be honored. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brysonfuneralhome.com. The family, respectfully, requests masks to to be worn at all times during the visitation and funeral service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
