Clara Irene Mitchell

Clara Irene Mitchell of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on May 22, 2015 at the age of 88 years. She was born on August 5, 1926, the daughter of the late Elmer Leon and Osa Ann Caroline (Firebaugh) Sitzes. On January 6, 1942 she was united in marriage to Lehmann Paul Mitchell who preceded her in death on August 8, 1992. Irene is survived by her brother, Lester and wife Lucy Sitzes of Imperial, Missouri, Norman and wife Barbara Sitzes of Roselle, Missouri; sisters Bertha Rutledge of Belleview, Florida, Anna Mae Huffman, Linda and husband Norris Blankenship, and June Vaughn all of Fredericktown, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Irene is preceded in death by brothers Lee Sitzes, Johnny Sitzes, Gene Sitzes, Earl Sitzes; and one sister Blanche Powell.
