Clara T. Elders

Clara Theresa Elders, 72, of Bonne Terre passed away January 5, 2015. She was born October 28, 1942 in Bonne Terre to the late Leonard and Louise (Lore) House. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Virginia Polly Sikes, Marjorie Biggerstaff; brother, Stanford "Snooze" House; close family friend, Barry Phipps. Clara was a member of Aulsbury Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Clara is survived by her husband, Ronald Elders; four sons, Douglas Elders of Bonne Terre, Dwight Elders of Bonne Terre, David (Leslie) Elders of Terre Du Lac, Dennis (Tammy) Elders of Park Hills; ten grandchildren, Morgan, Mason, Mitch, Brandon, Bradley, Brett, Derick, Jordan, Tyler, Halle Phipps; two great-grandchildren, Parker and Addilynn; brother, Norman "Skip" House of Arnold; sister, Evelyn (Dean) Moak of Bonne Terre. Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Friday at 9:00 AM at the Aulsbury Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with the service beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Krampf officiating.
