Clarence "Buddy" Burch

Clarence E. Burch, affectionately known as Buddy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on Thursday, March 5, 1970, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, he was the beloved son of Lloyd and Bertha (Bess) Burch. Buddy dedicated his life to his work as a dishwasher at a local nursing home, where he was known for his warm spirit and kind heart.

He was a member of the Three Rivers Church, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his faith with the community. A passionate wrestling fan, Buddy, took pride in his extensive collection of wrestling figurines, relishing in the thrill of the sport. He also had a remarkable collection of beer steins and enjoyed spending countless hours immersed in video games, further showcasing his playful side and love for recreation. 

Buddy is survived by his loving mother, Bertha, and his sister, Angela Skaggs, who will miss his laughter and zest for life profoundly. The family encourages all who knew Buddy to join them in remembering his vibrant spirit and the love he shared with others.

Clarence was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Burch; sister, Cindy Jo Degonia and brother-in-law, Roger Skaggs. 

Rest in peace, Buddy. You will be missed but never forgotten. 

Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM until funeral service time of 11:00 AM. Pastor David Wright is officiating. Burial to follow at Bess Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
