Clarice Wion

Clarice Edna Wion, 103, of Farmington, MO passed away August 23, 2021 at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, MO. She was born October 17, 1917 in St. Louis, MO to the late Edward and Lulu Hoeffner. She was a member of the Farmington Presbyterian Church. Clarice was a wonderful homemaker. She loved going to church and also enjoyed sewing, leather tooling and ceramics.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, J. Lloyd Wion; two stillborn sons, J. Lloyd Wion, Jr. and Walter Wion; grandson, Matthew Hartmann; brother, William Hoeffner.

Clarice is survived by three children, E. James Wion and wife Mary of Barnhart, MO, Clarice Passmore of Rockport, IN and M. Belle Wion of St. Louis, MO; five granddaughters, Angela, Amy, Brenda, Victoria and Amanda; nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Valhalla Cemetery in St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
