Claude Ervin Russell, Jr.
was born in Farmington, MO, on August 27, 1942 and departed this life on March 31, 2005, at the age of 62. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude E. Russell & Donna Irene 'Clanin' Russell and 1 granddaughter, Dixie Lynn Roux.

Claude is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon Mae 'Hoehn' Russell and 4 children; Christina Mae 'Russell' Hollinger (& Jerry), Robert Stanley Russell (& Rhonda), Thomas John Russell (& Susan) and Nancy Ellen 'Russell' Moore. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Joshua Youngers, Nyssa Youngers, Christian Hollinger, Robert Russell, Rodney Russell, Rebecca Russell, Gabriel Parker, Elizabeth Russell, Jacob Moore & Kaitlyn Moore. Claude is also survived by many friends & relatives , who knew & loved him.

Claude was a member of the 1140th Engineering Battalion of the Missouri National Guard, based in Farmington, and was honorably discharged in 1970.

Claude was employed at Mineral Area Grocers Corporation in Esther, MO., for nearly 28 years & served as Foreman of the warehouse for 10 of those years. He was also employed at North County Schools until August of 2004, when he retired.

Claude accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was a boy at a little country church in Loughboro, MO., and was baptized in the St. Francois River near his home. In 1977, while attending the First Free Will Baptist Church in Farmington, with his wife & 4 children; Claude rededicated his life to Christ.

Visitation will be Sunday, 5-9 p.m., at TAYLOR Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation will resume Monday, 7 a.m. & funeral services will be Monday, 1 p.m., April 4, 2005, at the TAYLOR Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Randy Rains officiating. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery, Doe Run, MO. Memorials may be made to: *American Heart Association.
