Mr. Clinton Samuel Wininger passed away on Thursday morning, September 7, 2006, at his Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 103 years, 8 months & 7 days. Clinton was born on December 30, 1902, in Bonne Terre, MO., & was the son of George Smith Wininger & Alice Alvatine 'Cooksey' Wininger. Also preceding-in-death were: his 1st wife, Dorothy 'Goodin' Wininger (1945); his 2nd wife, Helen 'Damron' Layne Wininger (1996); 1 Daughter, Rebecca Schindel; 1 Step-Daughter: Doris Sebastian; 2 Sisters: Emma Hardy & Tince Holley. Also, 1 Grandson, David McBride.

Clinton was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of the Lead Belt, and member of Farmington Presbyterian Church.

Survivors Include: 2 Daughters: Virginia McBride, of Atlanta, GA & Anne Keister, of St. Ann, MO; 1 Step-Daughter: Carol Weber, of Highlands Ranch, CO; 2 Sisters: Georgia Neff, of Farmington & Mary Jane Pearman, of Missouri. 1 Brother: Freddy Lee Wininger, of MI; Several Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation: Sunday, 5-8 pm. Visitation resumes Monday, 7-9:30 a.m.

Funeral: Monday, 11:00 a.m., Sept. 11, 2006

at: Farmington Presbyterian Church, with Rev. John F. Nipper officiating.

Interment: St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Bonne Terre, MO.
