Connie Sue Ferrell

The family of Connie Sue Ferrell of Bonne Terre, Missouri is saddened to announce her passing on May 4, 2022 at the age of 73 at Missouri Baptist Hospital.  Connie was born March 15, 1949 in Marquand, Missouri to William and Virginia (Rodgers) Burkett.  Connie enjoyed playing Pokeno with friends in her community and she looked forward to her yearly shopping trips with her sisters. She loved spending time with her grandchildren; Connie was known to be loving and thoughtful, always putting others before herself.  She was the matriarch of the family and will be lovingly remembered.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wanda Lovelady and brother, Harvey Burkett; grandson, Luke Ferrell. 

Connie is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Michael Ferrell; children, Anthony Ferrell, Miki (Thomas) Bolton and Tim (Betsy Reichert) Ferrell; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Haley, Matthew, Jaxon, Bianca & Autumn; three great grandchildren, Ronan, Calvin and Clark.   Connie is also survived by 6 siblings; Bill (Betty) Burkett, Wayne (Wilma) Burkett, Carol Griffin, Richard (Audrey) Burkett, Dennis (Lisa) Burkett, Charlene (Roland) Sailor.

A memorial visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM until service time of 2:00 PM. Pastor Ken Burkett will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Sons.
