Daisy Corcoran

          Daisy Luetta Blackwell Corcoran, 77, of Park Hills, departed this life on May 10, 2021, having reached the age of 77 years and 21 days.  She was born April 19, 1944, in Bismarck to the late, Arthur Lloyd and Myrtle Grace (Crocker) Blackwell, who preceded her in death.

          On October 7, 1961, Daisy was united in marriage to the late John Corcoran and together they happily spent fifty-seven wonderful years together.

          In addition to her parents and loving husband, Daisy was preceded in death by five brothers, Arthur Elmer Blackwell, Ray Blackwell, Marvin “Tooter” Blackwell, Raymond Blackwell, Donald Blackwell; four sisters, Bernice Gibson, Leona Blackwell, Louise Griffin, Marie Reed; nine half-brothers, Emery Blackwell, Ervin Blackwell, Roy Blackwell, Ivan Blackwell, Walter Blackwell, Norman Gibson, Harvey Gibson, LeRoy Gibson, Vernon Gibson.

          Daisy loved spending time with her family.  She loved music and she loved to go dancing.  She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.  Daisy is survived by three brothers; Gale (Shirley) Blackwell of Farmington, Herbert Blackwell of Bismarck, John Blackwell of Bismarck and one half-brother, Jesse Gibson of Bismarck.  Many other family members, numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

          Daisy will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.  A graveside service will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck.  Memorials may be directed to the Diabetes Foundation.
