Dale Arthur Elam

Mr. Dale Arthur Elam passed away Friday evening, March 23, 2012, at the St. Francis Hospital, in Cape Girardeau, MO., at the age of 63 years, 1 month & 24 days. Dale was born on January 29, 1949, in Kankakee, Illinois, and was the son of David Elam and Phyllis 'Hopper' Elam Luhman. Also preceding-in-death were: his wife, Barbara Ann Elam (2004); his step-dad, Walter Luhman; a sister, Cheryl Sweatman and a brother, David Terry Elam.

Dale was a Over-The-Road Truck Driver and a US ARMY Veteran.

Survivors Include: 2 daughters - Vicki (& Wayne) Gamblin, of Bismarck; Laura Elam, of Bismarck. 1 son - Steve (& Laura) Elam, of Park Hills. A sister, Sandra (& Art) Richa, of Indiana. A brother, Don (& Christy) Elam, of California. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Heather Gamblin, of Bismarck and Sloane Elam, of Farmington.

Visitation : Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Wednesday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., March 28, 2012,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Brother Bob Webb officiating.

Burial With Military Honors at : Parkview Cemetery, Farmington, with Patriot Guard Riders leading the funeral procession.
