Daniel Aaron Wills

Daniel Aaron Wills, a beloved son, husband, devoted father, and cherished member of the community, passed away on December 13, 2023, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on October 6, 1994, to Jim and Laura (Stuckmeyer) Wills.

Daniel was preceded in death by his best friend, Mark Lindsey; maternal grandmother, Patricia Stuckmeyer and uncle, Dave Keller

Daniel was a dedicated mail carrier, faithfully serving the community through his employment with the United States Postal Service for a little over 7 years. He took great pride in his work, always delivering mail with a smile and a kind word. Beyond his role as a mail carrier, Daniel’s true passion in life was his family. Daniel was a steadfast pillar of strength for his children, providing unwavering support, guidance, and love. His devotion to his family will forever be remembered and cherished.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his loving wife Heather (Prunty) Wills. They started out as high school sweethearts and have been together 12 years with 9 of those being married. Cherished daughters, Madelyn, Marley, Renley and Riley; siblings, Lydia Geisendorfer and Grey Wills; grandfather, Charles Stuckmeyer; niece, Ellie Geisendorfer; nephew, McCrae Geisendorfer; mother-in-law, Stacy Schmaltz and husband Brian; grandmother-in-law, Sara Bates; aunts, Jennifer Wills, Theresa Wills, Becky Kuelker and husband Mike, Denise Stuckmeyer; uncle, Bob Wills and wife Sarah; brothers-in-law, Kyle Schmaltz, Austin Schmaltz, Dylan Shanks, Matthew Prunty; sisters-in-law, Angel Prunty and Maerisa Easter; who were an integral part of his life.

Daniel was a member at First Baptist Church of Farmington, and the National Association of Letter Carriers. He also had a passion for Scouting and achieved the remarkable honor of becoming an Eagle Scout.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Farmington from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will start a 6:00 PM with Pastor Jason Welker officiating. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials, if desired, can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses or to be used towards the girl’s college education. Arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home-Taylor Chapel.

Daniel will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love will forever remain etched in our memories, a constant reminder of the beautiful soul that brightened our lives. May he rest in eternal peace.
