Danny Gene Turner

Danny Gene “Dan” Turner, 64, of Doe Run passed away February 9, 2024. He was born December 29, 1959 in Doe Run to the late Clyde Edward Turner, Sr. and Thelma Irene (Hurst) Manning. Dan enjoyed fishing and loved to ride his Electra Glide Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also loved spoiling his dog, Hound Dog.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Turner.
Dan is survived by three children, Misty Bush and husband Beau, Danny Turner II, and Cody Turner and wife Ashley; ten grandchildren, Cheyene Williams (Nathan), Blake Bush, Ethan Turner, Braden Turner, JayDan Turner, Grant Turner, Graci Irene Turner, Kaelee Turner, Austin Spitzmiller, Paisley Turner; one great-grandchild, Kizer Williams; three brothers, Jerry Turner and wife Diana, Paul Turner and wife Linda, Ed Turner and wife Dot; dear friend, Larry “Bird” Barnhouse. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Special thanks to Ed Turner for all the help throughout the years.
