Danny Joe Miller

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Danny “Dan” Joe Miller announces his passing on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the age of 74 years. Son of the late Joe Miller and Lois (Allen) Skaggs, Dan was born Saturday, September 22, 1951, in Ironton, Missouri.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepmother, Dean Miller; stepfather, Cleo Skaggs; son, Reggie Jaco; brother, Jerry Miller; sister, Cindy Lucas; and brother-in-law, Billy Bea.

Dan was an avid reader, especially when it came to all things history. He also enjoyed hobbies like fishing and watching Cardinal’s baseball. But most importantly, he loved attending his grandkid’s sporting events and the time spent with family. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Beverly Joyce (Snowdell) Miller; children: Darrell (Tina) Miller, Stephanie (Will) Nokes, Sandi (Ben) Joyce, Logan (Billie) Miller, Dana (James) Johnson, Victoria (Mark) Linkenbach, and Brandy (Manu) Steinhorst; grandchildren: Kody, Kaytee, Anabelle, Caden, Tessa, Darren, Sanna, Juno, Lana, Abbi (Cody) Smith, and Zach (Mya) Nokes; eight great-grandchildren; sister Ann Miller; and stepsisters: Sandra (Bob) Burchett, Jan Bea, Debbie (Ken) Mackey, and Terry Black.

Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son—Taylor Chapel in Farmington, Missouri. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Taylor Chapel from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitation will resume Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 9:00am, followed by the service at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
