Darlis Jeanette Mullins

Darlis Jeanette Mullins, age 86 of DeSoto, Missouri passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Baisch Nursing Center in DeSoto. She was born on January 20, 1934 in Fredericktown , Missouri, a daughter of William and Birdie (DeSpain) Carpenter. She was united in marriage to Charles Monroe Mullins who preceded her in death on May 14, 1993. Besides her husband, she is preceded by her parents, five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one daughter – Lisa Mullins of DeSoto; two sons & daughters-in-law – Mike & Denise Mullins of Marquette, Michigan and Steve & Loretta Mullins of DeSoto; five grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren. . Darlis was a homemaker preferring to stay at home to care for her family; she loved her faithful companion, her dog Paddy, which she called "Pouchie". She was of the Baptist faith. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown. Condolences may be posted on this website.
