Darrell Dean Burkhalter

Darrell Dean Burkhalter passed away March 30, 2017 in Saint Louis Missouri at the age of 66 years 4 months and 18 days. He was born on November 18, 1950 in Creston, Iowa, son to the late Edwin and Eleanor (Buchanan) Burkhalter. Darrell is survived by sons Chris Burkhalter of Ironton, Missouri, Jeremy Burkhalter of Ironton, Missouri, his brother Russell Burkhalter of Ironton, Missouri, sisters Charlene Pettit of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and Blanche Million of Clarinda, Iowa, his children's mother and former wife Linda Hodges of Arcadia, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Darrell is preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Elanor Burkhalter, and his brother Terry Burkhalter. Darrell served his country proud in the United States Army. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Ironton.
