David Clifford, Sr.

David Troy Clifford Sr., age 65, of Bonne Terre, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 18, 2025. He was born on Sunday, December 27, 1959, in Poplar Bluff to the late William Troy and Melba (Stevenson) Clifford. 

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Emily (Taylor) Clifford; sisters, Debbie Barton and Darla Nichols; nephew, Anthony Bollinger.

David retired from Foam Products, where he worked as an electrician. He was a proud member of the Samaritan Lodge #424 in Bonne Terre, cherishing the camaraderie and fellowship that it offered. In his free time, David found joy in the great outdoors, often spending weekends in the Patterson area where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. These cherished moments allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting memories with family and friends.

 David is survived by his beloved spouse, Rhonda Clifford; his sons, David Troy Clifford Jr. and Darren Ray Clifford and wife Christine; his daughter, Ashley Michelle Powell and husband John; his eight cherished grandchildren: David Troy Andrew Clifford, Matthew Ryan Clifford, Hunter Dean Clifford, Skylar Marie Clifford, Jaxon Ray Clifford, Kennadi Marie Clifford, Mackenzee Lynne Powell, and Emmett Daniel Powell. He is also survived by his sisters, Dana Bollinger and husband Sam, Dian Jordan and husband Dean; brother, Doug Clifford along with several nieces, nephew's friends and family.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life service at a later date. Arrangements under the care of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
