David Gene Payne

David Gene Payne, of Bonne Terre, passed away at St. Joe Manor Nursing Facility on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the age of 71. He was born Sunday, February 03, 1952 in St. Louis, to the late, Woodrow and Rebecca (Overlease) Payne. In addition to his, parents he was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

David enjoyed collecting and restoring straight razors, range shooting, making his own reload bullets. He had a passion for blues music, but most importantly was spending time with his love Barbara, of 33 years.

David is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Johns) Payne; along with several nieces and nephews that survive. David will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
