Dearl G. Conway

Mr. Dearl G. Conway passed away Jan. 17, 2016, in Farmington, at the age of 91 years and 5 days. Dearl was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Shannon Co., MO., & was the son of William & Rosie 'Laxton' Conway. Also preceding-in-death were: his 1st wife, Milblene Conway; Daughters, Leslie Conway Meyer & Charlene Conway (died @ birth). Sisters: Virginia; Sada; Vada & Pauline. Brothers: Willard, Cecil & Ted. Also, great-granddaughter, Abby Cecena.

Dearl was a 50+ year member of Local #513 Operating Engineers. After retirement, he loved farming his cattle and baled hay until age 85. He worked for many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator in St. Louis for Fred Weber Construction.

Survivors Include : his wife, Wilma Delores 'Winebarger' Conway, of Farmington. A son, Dennis (& Shirley) Conway, of Sundance, WY.A step-son, Gary (& Phyllis) Wills, of Bonne Terre. 2 step-daughters: Cathy (& Rick) Baker, of Farmington; Kimberly Johnson, of Farmington. 3 sisters: Wilma Widger, of Farmington; Rosella (& Stewart) Erxlaben, of St. Louis; Juanita (& Leon) Patterson, of O'Fallon, MO. Also surviving are: 5 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 10, step, great-grandchildren.

In State : Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Thursday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Thursday, 11:00 a.m., January 21, 2015

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Steve Berry officiating.

Interment follows at : Ellington Memorial Cemetery - Ellington, MO.
