Debra Ann Young

Debra Ann Young, age 66 passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at her home in Desloge, Missouri. She was born on November 11, 1956, in Cambridge Shire, England to John Leman "Jack" and Stella Marie (Lewis) Laurence. On November 10, 1985, she was united in marriage to Randy Ray Young, he preceded her in death on May 23, 2005.

She is also preceded by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by five children – Mike (Marcie) Laurence of Farmington, Missouri, Christina (Doug) Rupert of Jacksonville, Florida, Samatha Young of Desloge, Jennifer Young also of Desloge and Sabrina Young of St. Louis, Missouri; three sisters – Lonnie Simino of St. Louis, – Vicky Murray of Hampton, Virginia and Shelly Haynes of Eminence, Missouri; sister-in-law – Gloria Laurence of St. Louis; seven grandchildren - Erica Laurence and husband Kory Downs, Cole Laurence, Ashlynn Rupert, Mark Rupert, Mathew Rupert, Abbigail Rupert and Emma Miller; great grandchildren – Mason and Jack Downs.

Debra was foreman at Lee-Roman Manufacturing Company in St. Louis; she enjoyed gardening, listening to music, playing bingo, and going to the casino.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., also on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home.
