Delbert "Bud" James Mills

Delbert James "Bud" Mills, age 65 of Marquand, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021. He was born on January 4, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of William Garth "Bill" and Shirley Mae (Derk) Mills. Those surviving include: two sons – Nick Mills and wife Stephanie of St. Louis and Josh Mills also of St. Louis; stepdaughter – Leah Williams of St. Louis; mother – Shirley Mills of Marquand and Sharon Peterson of New Franklin, Missouri; five grandchildren and the mother of his children – Judy (VaNostrand) Mills of St. Louis. He is preceded in death by his father – Bill Mills, brother – Stephen Mills and sister – Marty Allen. Bud was a United States Marine Veteran; he worked in the roofing business and enjoyed playing his guitar, collecting arrowheads, drawing and fishing. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:3030 a.m., on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Union Light Cemetery near Marquand. Condolences may be posted on this website.
