Delie Diane Burns

Delie "Diane" Burns, age 69 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on April 29, 1948 in Fredericktown a daughter of Cleo Bert and Delie Elizabeth (Silvey) Tripp. Her parents and brothers, Glen, Richard, William and Kenneth and sisters Ann and Glenda precedes her in death. On December 21, 1966 in St. Louis she was united in marriage to James Robert Burns, he survives in Fredericktown. Other survivors include: two sons - Greg ( Heather) Burns of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Jimmy Burns of Fredericktown; one brother - James (Louise) Tripp of Farmington, Missouri; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one niece/sister - Stephanie King of Fredericktown and numerous other nieces and nephews. Diane had worked at the Tinnin Garment Manufacturing Company in Fredericktown; she enjoyed working around the house, doing yard work, sunbathing, shopping and most of all loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Mt. View Church in Marquand, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Burns and Pastor Tommy Fults officiating. Interment will be at the Snowdenville Cemetery near Cornwall, Missouri. Condolences may be posted on this website.
