Delmar "Paul" Light Sr.

Delmar Paul Light Sr. known to most as Paul, passed away at his home on February 14, 2023 at the age of 62 years. He was born March 4, 1960 in Ironton, Missouri the son of the late Louis Eugene and Juanita Marie (Chronister) Light Sr. On June 17, 1977, he was united in marriage to Delena "Faith" Owens. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2021. They were the parents of Delmar Paul Light Jr. who survives. Also surviving are three brothers: Robert "Bob" Light of Morrilton, Arkansas, Eric Light (Lisa) of Arcadia, Missouri, and Gene Light (Dana Tripp) of Pilot Knob, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Paul worked for Townsend Tree Service for forty-one years as a Foreman and a machine operator. In his free time he enjoyed hunting. Paul was a talented artist who enjoyed making things with wood and welding to make metal arts. He was also musically talented and played the harmonica.
