Delmar John Wesley Mills

Delmar John Wesley Mills age eighty of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Claru Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown. He was born on September 24, 1939 in Marquand, Missouri, a son of Marvin Jesse and Retha Bernetta (Shrum) Mills. He was united in marriage to Juanita Heady, she preceded him in death on July 19, 2016. also preceding him are his parents, two brothers – Nehemiah Mills and Sylvester Mills; five sisters – Emma Sitzes, Louella McCutcheon, Lilly Matthews, Bessie Lundsford and an infant sister Goldie Jane Mills. Delmar enjoyed taking care of his yard, gardening, fishing, hunting and singing in church where he was a member of the Union Light Congregational Methodist Church in Marquand. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor David McCutcheon officiating. Interment will be at Union Light Cemetery in Marquand.
