Dennis "Terry" Albert

Dennis Joe Albert, known to most everyone as “Terry” passed away at his home on February 7, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 15, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Melvin and Mildred (Neal) Albert. On October 4, 1970 he was united in marriage to Pamela Jean Toppins who survives. Terry was the father to three girls: Shelly Albert of Piedmont, Missouri, Brandi Balin of St. Louis, Missouri, and Taylor Donovan (Ryan) of St. Louis, Missouri. Terry is also survived by his grandchildren: Jacob Balin (Gloria) and Callie Balin and great grandchildren: Griffin, Violet, Phoenix, Ella and Esme. His brother, Ronnie Albert (Rose) of St. Louis, Missouri and his sister, Kay Payne also of St. Louis are also left to mourn the passing of their brother. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends will also miss him. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Melvin “D.L.” Albert, and three sisters: Regina Payne, Norselene Marshall, and Melba Gibson. Terry enjoyed working on cars and being a mechanic. He loved music and always had music playing. He enjoyed fishing and aggravating Pam for fun. His dog, Bandit, was very special to him and accompanied him most everywhere. Most important of all to Terry was his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Annapolis Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Bryson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Meadows Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Meadows Cemetery Association.
