Dennis Dale Cox, age 69, of Farmington, Missouri passed away October 20, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 23, 1941 at Leadwood, Missouri.He was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Bonne Terre; Mineral Area Community Elks 2583; St. Francois County Democratic Club. He enjoyed his horses and participated in area trail rides, also enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a #1 fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. His greatest joy in life came from his family and grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his father, George Marvin Cox and brother, David George Cox.Dennis is survived by his wife, Brenda (Volner) Cox of Farmington; daughters, Denise (Mrs. George Sebastian) of Farmington, Jennifer (Mrs. Mike Sadler) of Belgrade, Brandy Reed of Desloge; six grandchildren, Justin & wife Kelly Sadler, Aimee Sebastianm, Sarah Sebastian, Jessica Sadler, Addison Reed, and Blake Reed; mother, Margaret (Tedder) Cox of Bonne Terre; two brothers, Randall Lee Cox and wife Dorothy of Arcadia, Alvin E. Cox of Desloge; sister, Janet Elaine Vasal (Lou) of Fenton; brother-in-law, Jim Volner and wife Deborah of Desloge.Visitation is 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday (October 22, 2010) at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge with Mineral Area Elks service at 7:00 PM. Services are 11:00 AM Saturday (October 23, 2010) at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Mike Kelpe officiating.
