Dennis "Denny" Wayne Skaggs

Dennis Wayne Skaggs also known by “Denny”, age 63, of Bonne Terre, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Mercy South in St. Louis.  Denny was born Tuesday, June 24, 1958 in Bonne Terre, to the late Orville and Geraldine (Hale) Skaggs.

  He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha (Moss) Skaggs; his four children, Dana (husband JD) Cafourek, Denny Wayne (wife Devan) Skaggs, Stephen (wife Tricia) Skaggs, Matt (wife Taylor) Richardson; fifteen grandchildren, Helena Plunkett, Millie Plunkett, Camille Skaggs, Aubrey Skaggs, Denny Skaggs III, Peyton Skaggs, Kinley Skaggs, Logan Skaggs, Carter Stokes, Austin Stokes, Kaden Cafourek, Hope Cafourek, Audrey Cafourek, Maddy Cafourek, and Logan Cafourek; one great-grandchildren; Weston Sapp, siblings; Lanny (wife Brenda) Skaggs, Linda Pyatt, Joe (wife Missy) Skaggs, Randy (wife Kim) Skaggs; brother and sister in laws, Randy (wife Rochelle) Moss, Richard (wife Mindy) Moss, Missy (husband David) Short and Robby Moss along with extended family and friends .

Denny was a huge North County Raiders Fan, he enjoyed football, fishing and hunting. As a well-known carpenter in the area, Denny loved getting up every morning and going to work. Denny was very proud of his family; he loved and cherished every moment he had with them. He will be remembered for his big smile, big heart and loving personality. Denny will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Pastor Randy Murphy officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Raider Junior Football League. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of C.Z Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
