Dennis Roger Umfleet

Dennis Roger Umfleet, age 66 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on August 17, 2023, Baptist Home in Arcadia, Missouri. He was born on November 11, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri to Jerry and Ethel (Young) Umfleet.  He married Carol (Long) Umfleet in Fredericktown.

He is survived by his mother Ethel Umfleet; sister – Beverly Miller; nephews – Jonathan, Clayton (Jamie) and Jerry K. Miller and many cousins and friends.

Dennis served in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged; he went on to pursue a career as a pilot with numerous airlines and Flight Safety. He later worked for Probation and Parole for the State of Missouri where he retired. He had a true love of flying but would try his hand at nearly anything; He loved gospel and country music, reading, photography and spending time with his family and friends; he was of Christian faith.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown with Chaplain Kamela Wren officiating.
