Dink Ketcherside

Darcy “Dink” Glen Ketcherside, age 49, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Wednesday, January 23, 1974, in St. Louis to the late David C. Ketcherside and Virginia (Henderson) Ketcherside.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashlyn Ketcherside and brother, David G. Ketcherside.

Dink enjoyed sprint car races, being at the river fishing with his friends and watching all kinds of sports.  He loved being with his children and cooking for them. He formerly worked for Hendrix Construction.

He is survived by his children, Hannah Ketcherside (Wyatt Huffine), Genie Ketcherside, Matthew Ketcherside and Blake Carl; mother, Joyce (Smith) Ketcherside; siblings, Missy Ketcherside, Derrick Ketcherside and Vivian Ketcherside; former spouse, Amanda Ketcherside; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 9:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM with Pastor Ryan Retzer officiating. Burial to follow at Leadwood Cemetery in Leadwood.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
