Dolores Annette Elsea

Dolores Annette Elsea, age 84 of Fredericktown, Missouri (formerly of the Coulterville and Sparta, Illinois area) passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, Missouri. She was born on June 9, 1931 in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of Harry Alexander and Catherine Almira (Davis) Crownover. On February 14, 1953 in Coulterville she was united in marriage to Charles Hugh Elsea, he survives in Fredericktown.       Other survivors include: two sons - Dave (Debra) Elsea of Steelville, Illinois; Steve (Talitha) Elsea of Perryville, Missouri: two daughters - Cathy (Mark) Melby of Fredericktown and Becky Sennholtz of Edwardsville, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Angela August, Erin Schnoeker, Emily Olson, Amilia Lingel, Charles M. Elsea, Jeffrey Melby, Christine Wosmek and Matthew Sennholtz; Eight grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents.       Mrs. Elsea was a homemaker; she enjoyed staying at home to care for her family; her hobbies were cross stitching, reading, traveling and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fredericktown.        Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m., on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Frdericktown.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Rick Pettey officiating.  A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m., on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Coulterville City Cemetery in Coulterville, Illinois.        Memorial contributions are suggested to Serenity Hospice or Trinity Luthern Church.  Condolences may be posted on this website.
