Dolores Olivia Klein

          DeeDee Barbarotto Bayer Klein, 71, of Bonne Terre, passed away January 5, 2023.  She was born October 25, 1951, in St. Louis, to the late Vincent and Lucy (Todaro) Barbarotto.  Dee Dee enjoyed painting, making jewelry and was a huge Star Trek fan, as well as a dog and horse lover.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Klein; sister, Patricia Cooper Simon and brother, Vincent Barbarotto, Jr.

          DeeDee was survived by her children, Karen Combest and husband Bill, Jeffrey Bayer and Kathleen Bayer; grandchildren, Darian, William, Nick, Becca, Brooke, Katelyn, Tristan and Zoey; siblings, Jo Ann Lazetera and husband Frank and Faye Galemore.

          There will be a private family gathering, at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Stray Recue in St. Louis.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
