Don Cook

Walter Donald “Don” Cook, 76, of Park Hills passed away January 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born May 18, 1939 in Elvins to the late Everett and Jessie (Arnett) Cook. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Ruby (Wilkerson) Cook and two brothers, Gene Cook and Bob Cook. Don proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Don is survived by five children, Rhonda Hilderbrand of Park Hills, Donna Tiefenauer and husband Kevin of Desloge, Lisa Crader and husband Vince of Park Hills, Tracey White and husband Roger of Coffman, Walter Cook of Park Hills; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Wallis and husband Lloyd, Mary Lou Masrhall and Alice Macke and husband Richard; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Service will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills with Rev. Jacob Pollard. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery in Doe Run with Full Military Honors. Memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society.
