Don Grieshaber

Donald Grieshaber, 86, of Desloge, passed away September 23, 2024, at Southbrook in Farmington. He was born March 30, 1938, to the late Raymond and Birdie Mae (Montgomery) Grieshaber. After 40 years of dedicated service, Don retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church of Park Hills and the Pendelton Masonic Lodge #551 in Doe Run. He enjoyed watching Cardinal baseball games and in his younger years, Don enjoyed fishing and gardening. 

Don was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother in infancy.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary (Milburn) Grieshaber; children, Doug Grieshaber and wife Regina, Dawn Gettinger and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Delaney Grieshaber, Ella Grieshaber, Dylan Gettinger and wife Megan, Abby Gettinger; great-granddaughter, Nyla Gettinger; sisters-in-law, Ruth Burcham and Joanne Milburn along with several nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at C.Z. Boyer and Son – Desloge Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Curt Gwartney officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. If desired memorials may be made to the Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Park Hills.
