Don L. Knowlton

Donald “Don” L. Knowlton, 74, of Ste. Genevieve passed away April 27, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 14, 1949 in Success, Arkansas. Donald proudly graduated high school at the age of 50. He was a member of Grace Bible Church. After being raised on a farm in Arkansas, Don and his wife traveled north to begin life together and find work. He worked many different trades throughout his life. Don was known for his ingenuity in his handy work and his ability to fix just about anything. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, being on the lake, and front porch sitting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman W. and Bessie Lee (Aniley) Knowlton; two grandsons, Noah R. Roderique, 15 years and David Michael Roderique, one day old.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, of 56 years, Lou (Haskins) Knowlton; two children, Lisa Leanna Knowlton and Kimberly Knowlton-Roderique and husband Jeremy; two grandchildren, Isaiah and Alayna Roderique; two brothers, Rudy Knowlton and wife Patsy, Keith Knowlton and wife Georgie; two sisters, Norma Dougan and Janis Farley.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Grace Bible Church in Ste. Genevieve with Pastor Bruce Valle officiating.
