Donald Gottman of Ashland, Missouri and formerly of Iron Mountain Lake, passed away August 1, 2018 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, he was 76 years old. Don was born October 7, 1941 in Millcreek, Missouri, the son of the late Lee Roy and Ethel Juanita (Walker) Gottman. He married Linda Reynolds and she preceded him in death. He married Sue Horton on August 30, 1979 in Irondale. He retired from Ameren UE as a Senior Lineman. Don loved the outdoors, fishing, and spoiling the grandkids. He coached many softball and baseball games. Survivors include his wife, Sue of Ashland; two sons, Jeff (Christa) Gottman of Ironton, Fred (Karen) Gottman of Columbia; one daughter, Teresa Gottman and special friend Robyn Pohrer of St. Louis, Missouri; three brothers, Jerry (Jo) Gottman, Bobby Gottman, and Jimmy Gottman; four sisters, Judy Rose, Hilda Sellers, Betty (Dave) Racer and Jackie (Richard) Lipp; five grandchildren, Kelsie (Dylan) Lambert, Kolter McBride, Addison Gottman, Isaac Gottman, and Tyler Gottman; one great grandson, Gus Lambert. Don was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and Pete; and three sisters, Patricia, Brenda, and Naomi.
