Donald Leo Chronister

Don Chronister, 79, of Fredericktown, passed away December 9, 2014, at his residence surrounded by family. He was born March 26, 1935 in Glen Allen, to the late John and LuLu (Buelher) Chronister. Don was also preceded in death by one son, Donnie Ray Chronister and several brothers and sisters. Don was known as a loving father to many, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to be around people. He also attended the Crossroads First Church of God in Libertyville. He is survived by his wife, Iris (Brown) Paul; daughter, Janet Feldewerth and husband Danny; son, Joe Duncan and wife Sara; 4 grandchildren, Andera Feldewerth, D.J. Feldewerth, Jacob Feldewerth, Zachery Lowrey; great-grandson, Evan Daniel Feldewerth; brother, Ronald Lee Chronister and wife JoAnn; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, December 12, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM, with Brother Joe Pogue and Brother Dave Parmley officiating. Interment will follow at Knoblick Cemetery. The family strongly encourages, in lieu of flowers, for memorials to be directed to either American Heart Association or American Diabetes Foundation.
