to view video click on Tribute Wall Donald Glenwood Pogue "Donnie" age 78 passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his home in Fredericktown, Missouri. He was born on December 4, 1942 in Fredericktown, a son of Bernard "Poon" and Wilma (Grey) Pogue. On April 19, 1963 he was united in marriage to Brenda Jane Cureton, she survives at the home. Other survivors include: two daughters & son-in-laws – LaDonna & Patrick Kemp of Fredericktown and Karen & Lee Grisham of Bismarck, Missouri; one brother – Roger Pogue and wife Lorna of Fredericktown; one sister – Bonnie Mills of Festus, Missouri; sister-in-law – Rita Pogue; four grandchildren – Tesson Kemp, Jarred Lober, Ashley Kemp and Brooke Kemp; one great granddaughter – Larissa Kemp. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother – Lester Pogue; sister – Carol Welker; sister & brother-in-law – Debbie & Mike Lindsey and brother-in-law – Noah Mills. Donnie retired from General Motors in Bowling Green, Kentucky and later worked for Tom Weyand and Kemps Auto Body both in Fredericktown; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, woodworking, gardening and going to church; but mostly spending time with his kids and grandkids. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Vance and Jim Graham officiating Interment will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Fredericktown. Condolences may be posted on this website.
