Donald F. Weiler

Donald Francis Weiler, 89, of Farmington passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025. He was born April 7, 1936 in Ste. Genevieve, MO to the late Francis and Elsie (Hermann) Weiler. Don proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington, American Legion Post 416 of Farmington and Habitat for Humanity. He worked for many years as a manufacturing supervisor for Lever Brothers. After retirement he enjoyed giving back to his community by helping with many of the special events at St. Joseph Catholic Church, and volunteering at the American Legion and St. Francois County Habitat for Humanity. Don also enjoyed woodworking and spending time on his computer.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his two daughters, Kathleen Weiler and Mary T. Weiler; and one sister, Martha Doza.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Mary Gibson-Weiler and her two daughters, Donna Radle and Sherry Berk; nieces and nephews, Kathy (Dan) Lankford, Joann (Randy) Cox, Craig (Lisa) Doza; great-nieces and nephews, Kelly Bova, Alex Lankford, Stephanie Turnbo, Megan Doza; great-great-nieces and nephews, Natalee and Nolan Bova, Cheyenne and Hailey Turnbo.

A memorial mass will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Rev. William Thess officiating. A private inurnment will take place at Hillview Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Memorial donations may be made to St. Francois County Habitat for Humanity. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
