Donald Nelson West

Donald Nelson West of Laddonia, Missouri passed away March 3, 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 75 years. He was born January 22, 1944 in Ironton, Missouri the son of the late John Arel and Edith Marie (LaPlant) West. Don is survived by three brothers; Harold "Douglas" West and wife, Gail of Belleview, Missouri, John "Herb" West and wife, Vonda of St. Peters, Missouri, Wilson "Butch" West and wife, Tina of Tuscan, Arizona, two sisters; Norma Jones of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Debra West of Arnold, Missouri, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by two sisters; Nancy Rayfield, and Shirley Redelishimer and a brother, William West. Don served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He worked in the construction industry most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and traveling.
