Donna Lynn Balsman

Donna Lynn Balsman of De Soto, MO passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at home with her family at the age of 64. She was born Sunday, December 15, 1957, in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late Franklin (Cletus) and Grace (Pettus) Haverstick. In addition to her father, Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Haverstick; brother, Blaine Haverstick; father-in-law Herman Balsman.

Donna was a retired home health aide. She loved spending time with her husband, family and pets, Sadie, Paisley and Lucy. Donna really enjoyed being outside soaking up the sun, swimming and boating.

Donna is survived by her loving husband Terry Balsman whom she married February 9, 2002; mother Grace Haverstick of De Soto; daughter, Michelle (husband Aaron) Dyer of Earlville, IL; son, Zak Brandon of Emporia, KS; stepdaughter, Daphne (husband Kyle) Bohnert; four grandchildren, Jaiden, Klayten, Lillian, and Mason Dyer; two step-grandchildren, Laine and Owen Bohnert; mother-in-law Norma Balsman; sister-in-law, Sandy (husband Jon) Schnurbusch, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Donna will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at CZ Boyer & Son in Bonne Terre on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 2pm until time of service at 4:30pm with Father Anthony Dattilo officiating.   Arrangements are under the directions of CZ Boyer & Son funeral home Bonne Terre, MO.
