Mrs. Doris Jean 'Mahurin' Pinkley passed away at her residence early Friday morning, February 13, 2015, at the age of 82 years, 7 months & 10 days. Doris was born on July 3, 1932, in Desloge, MO., & was the daughter of Doris Delion Mahurin and Beulah Alberta 'Mitchell' Mahurin. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Paul Eugene Pinkley (Nov. 24, 2012); a son, Rodger Paul Pinkley (Dec. 19, 1991); 2 sisters - Loretta Guinn & Shirley Jones, and a foster-son, Larry Haywood.
Doris retired from Trimfoot Shoe Company and was a member of New Heights Church of Farmington.
Survivors Include : 2 daughters - Paula (& Larry) Gremminger - of Desloge; Carolyn (& Richard) Resinger, of Farmington. A sister, Ruth Ann "Pidge" (& Kevin) Smith, of Park Hills. A brother, Clyde "Beans" Mahurin, of Desloge. A foster daughter-in-law, Gala Haywood, of Farmington. 8 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren & a special friend, Joanne Horn, of Farmington.
Visitation : Sunday, 4-8 p.m. Visitation resumes : Monday @ 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Monday, 11:00 a.m., February 16, 2015
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Rocky Good & Chaplain Jacob Pollard officiating
Interment follows at : Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve County
