Dorothy Ann Pinkston

Dorothy Pinkston, 88, of Farmington, passed away May 27, 2022, at Camelot Skilled Nursing in Farmington.  She was born in Bonne Terre, November 2, 1933, to the late Clifton and Opal (Pinkston) Sutherland. Dorothy enjoyed baking and gardening. She was a Sunday school teacher for 26 years at First Free Will Baptist Church in Farmington. She also enjoyed walking with her husband regularly.

          She was preceded by her parents; son, Melvin Carl Pinkston; brother, Lloyd Sutherland (Lavern); and brother-in-law, John Hufford.

          Dorothy is survived by her husband, Carl Glenwood Pinkston; her daughter, Deborah (Jeff) Seers; grandchildren, Richie Pinkston, Chrissa (Steve) Palmer, Carl Jeffrey (Misty) Seers, Douglas Ray (Reva) Seers, Nicole (JP) Ellis; great-grandchildren, Alex Palmer, Jefferey Carlton Seers, Johnny Lee Seers, Charley Otto Seers, Liam Ray Seers, Connor Rowan Seers, Samuel Asa Ellis; daughter-in-law, Karen Pinkston; siblings, Jessie Hufford, Frank (Angie) Sutherland, Rosemary (Bill) Ragsdale.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Farmington, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.  Reverend Roger Hogan will be officiating.  Burial will be at Three Rivers Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church in Farmington or Three Rivers Cemetery.
