Dorothy M. Brand

Dorothy Marie Brand, 80 of Bonne Terre passed away September 16, 2011 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. She was born October 2, 1930 in Bonne Terre. She was a member of the Farmington Assembly of God. She cared dearly for her two grandchildren and her special dog, Rainbow, who passed away last year. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard A. and Dorothy Mae (House) Hambrick; husband, Rev. Robert Brand; brother, Bobby Joe Hambrick and his wife Duckie.Dorothy is survived by her son, Ronald Brand and wife Carla of Desloge; two grandchildren, Camille Brand and Caleb Brand; brother, Ken Hambrick and wife Wanda of Knob Lick; brother-in-law, Bryan (Vicki) Brand; sister-in-law, Brenda (Frank) Hoehn; three special cousins, Jan, Elsie and Reva; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Rick and Brenda Daniels and daughter Jessica. Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Monday at 10 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Dwight Jones and Rev. Steve Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Brand officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
