Dortha Slade

            Dortha Slade, 97, of Leadwood, passed away August 3, 2017 at Fountain Bleau Nursing Center in Festus. She was born on December 28, 1919, in Leadwood, to the late Joe and Lizzie (Crump) Skiles.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Slade; and a son, Frank Slade. Dortha is survived by a son, Charles J. Slade and his wife Jean of Creve Coeur. Dortha was also a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. 

            A private burial will be held at a later date under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
