Mr. Dwain Willis Asberry passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at his Farmington residence, at the age of 78 years, 3 months & 29 days. Dwain was born April 4, 1927, in Ellington, MO., to Clayton & Floy 'Willis' Asberry. Also preceding-in-death were: 2 Sisters: Cleta Duncan & June Cook; 3 Brothers: Gene; Chester & Truman Asberry.
Dwain was: * a US ARMY Veteran of World War II; * a Lifetime member of Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896, Farmington; * retired Teamster of Local #574 of Cape Girardeau, MO. & * married Virginia Brown on July 1, 1945.
Survivors Include: His Wife, Virginia Belle 'Brown' Asberry, of Farmington; 3 Daughters: Margaret 'Mrs. Carl' Caldwell, of West Branson, MO; Sue 'Mrs. John' Scoppettone, of Fredericktown, MO; Gina 'Mrs. Doug' March, of Kirkwood, MO; 2 Sons: Dwain (& Angie) Asberry, of Farmington; Kevin Asberry, of Omaha, NE; 2 Sisters: Connie Ahrens, of DeSoto, MO; & Velma 'Mrs. John' Duffy, of Wheeling, IL; 4 Brothers: Dale (& Joann) Asberry, of Fenton, MO; Elva (& Wilma) Asberry, of Imperial, MO; Foy (& Theresa) Asberry, of Ferguson, MO; Udell (& Lucy) Asberry, of Redford, MO. 6 Grandchildren & 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, 5-8 pm. Visitation resumes Friday, 7:00 a.m.
Funeral: Friday, 10:00 a.m., Aug. 5, 2005, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Dale Berck officiating.
Interment: Ellington City Cemetery, Ellington, MO. Graveside Service: Friday - 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Brad Dush officiating.
