It is with heavy hearts, but great memories that we announce the passing of Earl David Brinley, 86, of Park Hills, who departed this life peacefully on October 2, 2026. Surrounded by his loved ones, Earl left this world in the comfort of his own home. He was born on February 16, 1940, in Cedar Hill, to the late Chester and Artie (Henry) Brinley.
Earl dedicated his life to his family and faith, serving as a devoted member of Esther Baptist Church, Missouri Disaster Relief and contributing his time with Campers on Mission and the Missouri Baptist Builders. For over 25 years, he owned and operated Earl Brinley Construction Company, where his craftsmanship and hard work were a testament to his character. After retiring, he devoted the next seven years to serving with Campers on Mission, where he found great joy in traveling and helping others in Texas and Mexico.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Earl enjoyed camping, hiking, and woodworking, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Earl and Ann were truly inseparable; their bond was a beautiful example of love and unity, as they worked and played side by side throughout their lives.
He was preceded in death by parents; one brother, Clyde Brinley and brother in-law, Dale Merritt.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ann (Yarbrough) Brinley; children, Tammy Hayes and husband Joe, Karen Lewis and husband Matt, Chris Brinley and wife Shannon; twelve grandchildren, Stephanie Cronin, Rebecca Long, Elizaberh (Nick) Sailor, Andrew (Jessica) Rieger, Sara (Alex) Redecker, Jessica Lararello, Emily (Davey) Pevahouse, Hannah “Chrissy” Hayes, Dustin (Kathy) Lewis, Tyler (Kristin) Lewis, Tyler (Kariana) Brinley and Sawyer Brinley; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Velma Merritt; sister in-law, Martha Brinley; other family members and friends also survive.
A celebration of life will be held at Redecker Ranch - 2005 Old Bismarck Road in Park Hills, Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 3:00 PM. It will be outside so dress accordingly. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
Earl was a man of deep faith and conviction. A devout Christian, he sought every opportunity to serve God and share His love with those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Well done my good and faithful servant. Matthew 25:21
