Earl Sutherland

Mr. Earl Sutherland passed away late Sunday morning, December 17, 2017, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital, in Festus, MO., at the age of 95 years, 1 month & 19 days. Earl was born on October 28, 1922, in Farmington & was the son of Antone "Tony" Sutherland and Elva Ann 'Biggs' Sutherland. Also preceding Earl in death were : his wife, Lola Marion 'Hampton' Sutherland (2003), a 1-day old daughter, Suellen Sutherland, 3 sisters - Sarah Jeanette Harper, Gladys Hamm & Adelee Bell, and 3 brothers - Swithin Sutherland, Clifton Sutherland and Carl Sutherland.

Earl was a longtime, faithful member of Farmington First Baptist Church. Earl was a US ARMY Veteran of World War II. Earl was a member of Norman L. Ridgon VFW Post #5896 & LePere-McCallister American Legion Post #416 - both of Farmington.

Survivors Include : special Nieces: Dorothy (Carl) Pinkston; Jessie (John) Hufford; Rosemary (Bill) Ragsdale & Pam McGrael. Special Nephews: Lloyd Sutherland; Frank (Ange-La) Sutherland. Also many Great-Nieces; Great-Nephews; Cousins & friends.

Visitation : Tuesday, 4-7 p.m. Visitation Resumes : Wednesday @ 8:00 a.m.

Funeral : Wednesday, 11:00 a.m.., Dec. 20, 2017

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Rocky Good officiating

Interment : Three Rivers Cemetery - rural Farmington
