Corbett Edward Sullivan, known to most as “Eddie”, passed away September 12, 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 67 years. He was born December 16, 1950 in Brunot, Missouri the son of the late Corbett James and Mary Imogene (Stevens) Sullivan. Eddie was united in marriage on June 18, 1972 to Patricia Waltman Miller of Piedmont, Missouri. To this union a daughter, Lisa Sullivan was born. She survives and resides in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. On December 16, 1996 he was united in marriage to Karen Sue Polk and she survives and resides in Pilot Knob, Missouri. Also surviving is daughter, Karen Young and fiancé, Brian Helm of Fredericktown, Missouri, two grandchildren; Lacey and Noah Russell, nephews; James Sullivan and fiancé, Terri, Billy Sullivan and wife, Becky and their two children, Colton and Caden, nieces; Shelly and Latonya, and his special friend and coffee drinking buddy, Joe Cozine. Other friends and relatives also survive. Eddie was preceded in death by his two brothers; James Eugene Sullivan and Fredrick Michael Sullivan. Eddie served his country in the United States Army. He was a former member of the Arcadia Valley Elks and the Arcadia Valley Eagles. He worked as an over the road trucker for most of his life. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from Bryson Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Sutton officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Meadows Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be made to the Meadows Cemetery Association.
