Edgar “David” St. Clair of Kansas City, Missouri passed away September 2, 2024 in Bonne Terre, Missouri at the age of 76 years. He was born December 6, 1947 in Holcomb, Missouri the son of the late Edgar J. and Eva (Hipps) St. Clair. David was a 1966 graduate of Cairo Sumner High School in Cairo, Illinois. He attended college and spent most of his career working in accounting for insurance companies, a construction company, and banking institutions. David was an ordained deacon in the Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed being involved with his church. David shared his gift of music by singing, playing the piano and trumpet. As a young person, David enjoyed drawing and sketching nature images. As an adult, he loved trout fishing in the Black Hills of South Dakota, squirrel hunting in southcentral Missouri, and all things to do with Missouri Conservation. David is survived by his life partner, Jon C. Marshall II of Kansas City, Missouri and his three sisters: Carol Mancil and husband Joe of Camdenton, Missouri, Edna Gail Martin of Farmington, Missouri, and Cora Burks of DeSoto, Missouri. Several beloved nieces and nephews are left to mourn his passing, as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Alan Berry officiating.
