Edna Marie Melton

Edna Marie Melton, age 90 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Stockhoff Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born on June 25, 1928 in Silva, Missouri a daughter of Dewey and Bertha (Lunyou) Williams. In 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri she was united in marriage to Elmer Francis Melton, he preceded her in death on June 3, 2003; her parents also precede her. She is survived by two sons - Dale Melton of Orlando, Florida and Ronald Melton of West Palm Beach, Florida; four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In her early years Edna had worked at Hussman Refrigeration in St. Louis; she loved cats and watching the birds, gardening and going to church where she was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., on friday, March 2, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 2, 2018 Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Bess officiating. Interment will be at the George Tidwell Cemetery near Silva.
